PRINCESS PARTIES, PRINCESS BALLS, & COMMUNITY APPEARANCES
We're looking for performers to portray fairytale characters to join our team. If you dreamed of being a real life princess growing up, this role is for you!
qualifications
- Experience acting and performing in any of the following: stage shows, drama clubs, dance, musical theatre etc.
- Vocal ability is an asset but not required
- Experience working with children is considered an asset
- Passion for acting, performing, and working with children is an asset
- Ability to adapt to situations, scenes, and circumstances within the performing role
- Ability to keep composure under stressful situations when working with uncooperative children
- Professional, positive and poised demeanour
- Outgoing, friendly, and warm personality
- Passion for characters and fairytales considered a strong asset but not required. We teach you everything you need to know
- Ability to train, and be receptive to coaching
- Commitment to character development and integrity
- Must have access to a Class 5 drivers licence
- Must pass a criminal record and vulnerable sector check
- Availability on weekends required, some evening work may be required occasionally
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
You are a young woman, between the ages of 18+ to 35 with experience in acting, performing, or the world of theatre, musical theatre or dance. You’re passionate about the Arts and creating experiences for others through those mediums.

ABOUT THE ROLE
- You as a performer will act, sing, dance, and interact with guests and children as beloved fairytale characters.
- The role is based heavily upon improvisation and acting performance skills.
- The position is on a casual, contracted basis. You set your schedule within the commitment time frame we are looking for.
- Minimum requirement of 1 year of commitment from a performer. It takes time to go through development, team building, and begin seeing consistent bookings.
- Weekend availability is required, as well as some weekday availability.
- Highest compensation rate for performers in the province paid by type of performance.

Our performers are provided control over their schedule, allowing for performance time as much or as little as they want.
