qualifications
- Experience acting and performing in stage shows, drama clubs, dance, musical theatre etc.
- Skilled in improvisation and memorising a script or character when required
- Strong vocal ability and singing voice is considered an asset but not required
- Experience working with children is considered a strong asset but not required
- Passion for acting, theatre, and performing
- Female performers at least 16 years old with resemblance to the character you are cast as.
- Experience performing in acting, musical theatre, dance, or theatre.
- Comfortable working with and interacting with young children.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- You as the performer will sing, act, dance, and interact with guests and children as beloved fairytale characters at birthday parties, community events, and our signature event, The Fairytale Princess Ball.
- Lead activities, and games during each event such as storytime, group games, crafts, or temporary tattoos.
- You will be required to learn the characters and roles you will be cast as
- Ahead of each birthday party, event. booking, or community appearance, you will be required to do your makeup according to who you are cast as.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must possess strong communicative skills, as well as the ability to communicate clearly, promptly, and professionally
- Strong time management skills
- Animated, outgoing and high energy personality
- Comfortable interacting, speaking, and working with children
- Confidence working in high paced environments with the ability to multitask when required
- Proactive, independent learner who thinks of the big picture
- A team player who understands the importance of working together as a group towards a common goal
- Ability to follow instructions, and accept guidance and direction if provided
- Must be committed to learning their role, character, and character integrity
- Access to a reliable vehicle and Class 5 drivers license
- Must pass a criminal record and vulnerable sector check
hourly commitment & REQUIREMENTS
- Weekend availability is a must, while some evening availability may be required
- 10 to 20 hours a month minimum commitment is required
terms & pay structure
- Employment is on a casual, or part time basis
- Starting pay is $18/hr
- Opportunity for pay increases with an increase in hours worked

Our performers under go regular character training, both in a 1:1 and group capacity. Along the way, they are provided ample resources to succeed.
All wigs, costumes, accessories, and basic supplies are provided for our performers. This ensures their success, and our standards for quality are upheld.
Our performers are provided control over their schedule, allowing for performance time as much or as little as they want.
